Notes for first-time users

Hlabels.com has developed a Microsoft Word add-in called "Label Sheets & Rolls".
To print your Microsoft Word labels on this label sheet template, you must first install the Hlabels add-in. You can install it directly from within the Word editor, or through Microsoft AppSource (the official add-in marketplace).

How to install the add-in from the Microsoft Word editor

  1. Start your Microsoft Word
  2. Make sure the Home tab is selected

  3. On the far right of the Home tab, click Add-ins

  4. In the search box, type "labels". From the search results, find "Label Sheets & Rolls" and click the blue Add button.

  5. Once installed, whenever you want to print on Avery Presta® 36539 you can simply open the add-in from within Word.

How to install the add-in from Microsoft Marketplace

  1. Go to the Microsoft Marketplace listing page for this add-in, or use the Microsoft Marketplace button at the top of this page.
  2. Click the blue "Get it now" button and follow the instructions (you need to be signed in to your Microsoft account to continue).

Installing the add-in this way allows you to access it directly from your browser.

How to print on Avery Presta® 36539 through this add-in

  1. Start a new blank Word document.
  2. Go to Layout > Page Setup and set the Paper size to a Custom size of Width: 3.0 inches and Height: 3.0 inches, which is the size of a single Avery Presta® 36539 label.
    You will only work on your label content. This add-in will take care of putting labels together on the label sheet layout.
  3. Finish designing your label. To print multiple label designs on the same sheet, just add a new Word document page for each design. To create dozens or even hundreds of label designs from data from an Excel file, one document page will be enough. This add-in will automatically generate all the labels and the label sheet printout.

The add-in will populate up to 6 label positions on the Avery Presta® 36539 template with the content from each label, based on your layout settings.
You can either print it directly using your inkjet or laser printer, or download the file for later use.

Correcting print misalignments

When printing for the first time, it's very likely you'll encounter some alignment issues.
If the shift is small (1–3 mm), use the Offset and Bleed Area settings in the Microsoft Word Label Sheets & Rolls Add-in to correct it, regardless of the root cause.
